VBS- WEIRD ANIMALS

This was the first time the kids have ever done Vacation Bible School

We joined Trinity Lutheran Church and they do a HUGE week of VBS- this year the theme was Weird Animals.  They sent us home with the BEST music CD, the kids absolutely LOVE it (and I enjoy it as well)

  This is the 2nd day, they were soooo excited to come back!!!

 

...and the last day! They did a performance of the songs and had an icecream social after.

 TO say they enjoyed VBS would be a total understatment.... Every.single.day they went on and on about how much they LOVED it!!  We are still always playing the cd in the car and to hear Averys sweet little 3 year old voice sing the words so clearly makes my heart melt!!!  SO so sweet (not to mention seeing them both do the actions in the review mirror of the car....pretty awesome).

Already looking fwd to next year!!!!



Every day Summer fun

Its June and weve passed all the craziness of MAY (Birthdays, Graduations, wedding, baptism, memorial day....whew...SO, so fun, but incredibly tiring!!)

 

We are ready for some RELAXED Summer fun!! (until we start camps that is..lol)

The park was flooded due to all the rain and the really high water level, I think this is the most fun theyve had at a park...Ever!

Daddy was gone tonight so we ate

dinner at the bar and did a Sink Tubby!

Lauren LOVED it, but she also LOVES LOVES, LOVES to splash.... needless to say the floor was very wet and the kids plates were filled with water, but we cant wait to do it again!!

 

We plan to fill our summer with lots of Picnics and Park play!

Easy. Simple. Fun

 

Memorial Day Weekend

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

 

 ALSO KNOWN AS CABIN TIME!!!

All the Reynolds Fam was up for memorial day weekend, so the kids got in lots of cousin time.  I didnt have my phone for the majority of the weekend, so I only have a few pics...but it was lots of fun and great weather!

Monday when we got home I cleaned the house spotless, washed all laundry and took the kids to cut these lovely lilacs from our bush!!

The house was quiet, it was humid and warm and you could only hear the frogs and smell these delicious flowers! 

Our house was pure SUMMER!! LOVE!

 







Welcome Canadian Family!!

 

 

May 16-18th was a BIG wkd for our family!!  The ENITRE family from Canada came and we made the MOST out of the weekend!  Quick Recap-- Thursday the Rents came and spent the night with us.  We watched Luke play Tball then had a pizza and movie night! Luke and Avery had Peanut butter and Jelly pizza from Carbones last time they were here. SO of course we had to get that again....may be starting a fun little tradition!!

Friday morning My mom and I got our traditional Pedicures...this started when I was pregnant with Avery and every time she visits we get one now!! Its a special treat!

 

Friday night Tricia had the Vossens at her house to see all the Canadians and celebrate Lillians Birthday! Summertime parties at their house are always so fun....bonfire, hayrides and night games!

 

Then on Saturday........ TINA AND ANDY GOT MARRIED!!!

It was a beautiful Ceremony and after a reception Dinner at Crave.  It was so nice to have everyone together again!!! 

Whew.....it has already been a busy few days... and then there was Sunday!!

Laurens Baptism Day!!

What a special day for our baby girl, to have almost her ENTIRE family witness and celebrate her baptism....so special!

Preschool Graduation

ITS SUMMER TIME!!!! 
 

What better way to remember our fun summer then to blog about it!!

 

Truth is....Ive been wanting to blog for a long time! Not really for anyone else to read, but to just have a place to document our lives and cherish all our fun memories! In my book...Im 8 years too late, but better late then never!!

 

We kicked off summer with the last days of preschool!!

First one to finish was Avery, she did Practice preschool this year and will do preschool 3 mornings a week next year!  She had a great year at school and loved learning to write her name!

 I cant believe my baby boy will be in kindergarten next year!!! Where has the time gone, you will find me in september in the fetal position crying like a baby ....Im sure of it!  Anyway, here are some pics from Preschool grad!
